Tai-xing-yan Trail in Tai-xing Village, Mei-shan Township, Chiayi County, sits at about 850 meters altitude and runs about 650 meters. From the parking lot you reach the observation deck in just 5-10 minutes for tea gardens, primeval forest, and mountain views. Sister Ponds in the Alishan National Scenic Area are two alpine lakes about 50 meters apart: Little Sister Pond (about 20 ping) and Big Sister Pond (about 160 ping).
