Lianchihtan Children's Park beside Lotus Pond in Zuoying is Kaohsiung's first inclusive children's park, spanning about 3.7 hectares with free admission. Highlights include nest swings, a 6-meter climbing net, rainbow hills, a 30-meter zipline, a Three Little Pigs fairytale maze, plus lawns and sandpits. Kaohsiung Dog Park sits between Lingya Sports Park (O9) and Weiwuying (O10) MRT stations — easy to reach by train. Separate zones for small and medium-to-large dogs are ringed by safety fencing. Agility equipment is comprehensive: ramp platforms, tire jumps, wave boardwalks, tunnel runs, S-pole weaves, a sandpit, wash basins, and a shaded owner rest area.
