Anping Tree House is located on Gubao Street in Anping District, Tainan. Originally a warehouse of the British Tait & Company merchant house during the Japanese colonial period, it gradually became enveloped by the roots of old banyan trees, creating a unique 'tree-building symbiosis' landscape. The site preserves the red-brick exterior and features wooden boardwalks that let visitors safely navigate through the intertwined roots and brick walls, blending historical and natural appeal. The Tree House shares a joint ticket with the Tait & Company building and the Zhu Jiuying Memorial Hall, making it ideal for family visits. It can easily be combined with Anping Old Street and Anping Fort for a half-day or full-day itinerary.

Anping Maritime City is a cultural park in Anping District, Tainan, themed around the 17th-century Age of Discovery. Developed by Shenyuanjishui Company from renovated factory buildings, the park blends Dutch, British, and other European influences. Inside, visitors find a British Industrial Revolution museum, an Age of Discovery story pavilion, a reconstructed Titanic scene, an observation deck, and multi-level dining areas. Photo-worthy spots include a British double-decker bus and a Roman square. Standard admission is NT$150, discounted tickets NT$100, and free for children under six, making it ideal for families and photography enthusiasts.

Shanshang Garden Waterworks Museum is located in Shanshang District, Tainan, formerly the Japanese-era Tainan Waterworks and the most completely preserved century-old hydraulic heritage site in Taiwan. The park combines historic architecture, natural ecology, and interactive facilities, offering a children's sand pit, wading pool, mini excavators, outdoor trails, and 3D virtual exhibitions. It is also a popular spot for Instagram photos and wedding shoots. Admission is approximately NT$100, making it an excellent destination for families and travelers who enjoy culture and outdoor activities.

Zuozhen Fossil Park is located in Zuozhen District, Tainan, Taiwan's only fossil-themed museum. The park comprises five main halls—Natural Education, Story, Life Evolution, Fossil, and Exploration—displaying specimens of elephants, dinosaurs, ancient deer, crocodiles, and shellfish. Interactive experiences include puzzle games, an archaeological dig pit, AR virtual reality, and an audio-visual theater for families. Full-price tickets are NT$100 and half-price NT$50. Zengwen Reservoir Riverside Recreation Area is located in Tainan, about a six-minute drive from the No. 2 Bridge toll booth. Originally a dam material site, it has been redesigned into a family-friendly riverside play zone featuring a wading pool, two-story slide, stone grinding slide, swings, bird's nest climbers, and a 28-hexagonal-unit eco-maze. Ample parking, lush greenery, and resting benches with lake views make it ideal for families to enjoy water play, walking, and birdwatching during summer. The peaceful setting offers a refreshing natural escape.

Chihkan Plaza, located in Tainan's West Central District, was transformed in 2020 from the former China Town mall into a waterfront park built around the concept of an urban lagoon. The design is predominantly white, featuring a sunken open-air water landscape, shaded rest areas, showers, and washroom facilities. The water is filtered through a triple-purification system and meets drinking-grade standards, making it safe for children to splash around. Parts of the original China Town structure have been preserved, along with frangipani islands that serve as popular photo spots. Open to the public free of charge, the plaza attracts families by day and couples seeking a romantic night scene by evening. Paid parking lots are nearby, and the plaza is also accessible by bus.
